Village of Pelham Trustee
Krystal Howell is a community-centered Village of Pelham Trustee who cares deeply about the place she calls home. A 3rd generation Pelhamite, she married her high school sweetheart, and they have raised their twin children here in the Village.
Krystal has held several leadership positions in various community/school organizations, including PTA Council President, local PTA boards, Pelham Together Diversity Committee, the school district's Cultural Competency Committee, Bridges of Pelham, and the Village Steering Committee on Police Reform.
As a construction manager, Krystal brings her financial acumen, technical expertise, and safety mindset to translate residents' concerns into practical, community-centered solutions to keep moving Pelham forward.
As Trustee, Krystal serves as liaison to the Council on the Arts and the Fire Department, helping bridge communication, support budget development, and strengthen trust between the Village Board, public servants, and the community

Kristen and her husband Sid have been residents of Pelham for more than 16 years with their children, Henry and Hannah.
Kristen is a proven community leader, currently serving as Town Councilmember for the past six years. She is a former Colonial School PTA President, chair of the Huguenot Parents Committee, co-lead of the district’s COVID Return-to-School Task Force, and a five time Pelham Together Summer Intern Mentor.
Kristen has also spent many years coaching youth soccer, including for Hannah’s Pelham girl's Wolfpack and assists with her son Henry’s Pelham teams.
Kristen’s connections to our community extend well beyond public service. She has helped organize the Elderwood Block Party for the last several years, and can often be found running or biking around town, visiting the Pelham Market on Sundays, sharing recommendations with her Pelham book club, walking her dogs Cocoa and Willa, and eating at all of Pelham’s fabulous eateries.

Russell Solomon was elected to the Pelham Village Board of Trustees in 2020 and is running for his fourth term.
He serves as the Board's liaison to the Police Department, pedestrian safety, and communications, and sits on NYCOM's Employee Relations and Public Safety Policy Committee.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Whitestone, Queens, Russell moved to Pelham in 2007 with his wife, Jessica. Their daughter, Rachel, studies violin performance at the Hartt School, and their sons, Aaron and Ben, attend Pelham Memorial High School.
Russell holds a BFA in Advertising Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and serves as Executive Creative Director at Armanino, a national accounting and consulting firm, after nearly three decades in advertising.
He has donated his design work to Pelham organizations, including the Pelham Public Library and the Chamber of Commerce.
