Kara McLoughlin

As Town Councilwoman for the past four years, Kara’s achievements include increasing the Recreation Department’s offerings in afterschool programming, exercise classes, day trips for Seniors, and many other activities. As a vocal advocate for the Town’s municipal health services she was instrumental in launching the town’s award-winning partnership with the Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corp, and helped establish Pelham’s own local ambulance and EMT service. 

 

In addition to official duties as Councilperson, Kara contributes by serving on the boards of Pelham Together, the Pelham Education Foundation, and the Junior League of Pelham - just to name a few - and also coaches local sports. She, her husband Chris D’Angelo, and their two children have been proud to call Pelham their home for 20 years.
