Theresa Mohan
Hi, I'm Theresa and I'm running for Supervisor of the Town of Pelham. Read about me below. I look forward to meeting you in person!
About Me
As a three-term Village of Pelham Trustee, Theresa has focused on listening to residents, building consensus, and tackling the challenges that matter most to the community. She currently serves as liaison to the Fire Department and the Sustainability Advisory Board, helping to strengthen public safety and advance environmentally responsible initiatives.
Most recently, Theresa partnered with the Sustainability Advisory Board to secure over $236,000 in grant funding from NYSERDA, enabling Pelham to purchase two Chevrolet Trailblazer electric vehicles, two off-road utility vehicles, and an electric lawn mower—boosting clean energy use across town.
Her leadership journey began as Co-President of the Hutchinson School PTA, and she later served as President of the Pelham Memorial High School PTA. Theresa has also been active on the district-wide PTA Council, the Site-Based Committee at Colonial School, and served as Coordinator of OLPH–St. Catherine’s CYO basketball. In addition, she has coached Pelham youth sports for many years, including softball, basketball, and soccer.
Professionally, Theresa brings more than 30 years of experience as a lawyer and senior executive, having served as General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer for several global companies. She has advised corporate boards, served on the board of ShelterBox—an international disaster-relief charity—and currently teaches as an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School.
Theresa and her husband, Peter Moskowitz, have lived in Pelham for over 25 years, raising their four children—Maggie, Katie, Jamie, and Erin—while staying deeply engaged in community life.
